2009 WMEA All-State Youth Honor Chorus.

The WMEA All-State Youth Honor Chorus application and audition packets are now posted!  The Youth Honor Chorus serves fifth and sixth graders each year.

This process will be done entirely online this year.  It is recommended that you quickly get online and become familiar with the procedures and make sure that your membership is up-to-date.

Here are the procedures for our teacher members:

1 - Download the 2009 WMEA All-State Youth Honor Chorus Application and Audition Packet.

2 - Log in to WMEA's Member Events area and set up your school's online application pages.  Follow the online instructions to set up your online school information. 

Please note that we are not able to accept student application or audition uploads until mid-September.  The due date for applications and auditions is October 13, 2008 - The Youth Honor Chorus deadline has been extended to Friday, October 17.

3 - Make sure your MENC membership is up to date.  If it isn't, join MENC now.  You will not be able to access the online system if you aren't a current member, and your students will not be eligible to apply.  It is strongly advised to join immediately and avoid paying with a purchase order.  MENC does not update your membership until they actually receive a check.  If you aren't currently a member, join MENC now.
