Music educators in Washington have several opportunities to attend conferences each year. The 2025 NAfME Northwest Division Conference was held in Spokane, Washington February 13-16, 2025. Announcements regarding future Northwest Conferences will be shared on this page
WMEA State Conference
WMEA state conferences are held during President’s Day weekend every on even numbered years. Since 2009, the odd-numbered year conferences have been held in conjunction with the NAfME Northwest Division Conference.
2026 Session proposals may be submitted HERE until 11:59 Pm May 15, 2025.
2026 Perfromer auditions may be submitted HERE
Notifications will be emailed to proposers by June 15, 2025 although a specific time and date may come later as we schedule the conference. Sessions will take place Friday February 13-February 15, 2026, at the Yakima Convention center and vicinity.
NAfME Northwest Division Conference
NAfME’s Northwest Division sponsors conferences during Presidents’ Day weekend of odd-numbered years. Music educators from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming are in attendance.
