Complete the form below to submit a proposal. Conference session proposals will be accepted until 11:59 PM on May 15, 2024.

Please enter all required information. We will use this information to publish a description of your session in the conference program, and we will rely on your correct spellings of the title, description, your name, names of co-presenters and resources. This form is used to propose professional development sessions for music educators. Companies wishing to present sessions need to apply through the Advertising and Exhibitor contracts. Performers need to audition through https://www.opusevent.com/. WMEA selects performers and demonstration groups through the audition process. Presenters many not select their own groups for demonstration sessions.

We don’t have space for a long resume. Please let us know where your main employment is. (i.e. a company, university, foundation, etc.)
1. Lecture is a class or power point presentation. 2. Clinic demonstrates specific skills as a part of a solo presentation. 3. Co-Presenter or Panel involves more than one presenter. 4. Demonstration involves an ensemble brought in to assist with the session. Demonstration groups can not be selected or brought in by the presenter. All ensembles and performers who appear at our conference are required to audition and have been selected/recommended/invited by the organization to participate through this audition process.

Presenters must be active NAfME members during the conference dates and must register for the conference. If your session proposal is chosen you will receive an email notification. There will be additional information for you to provide at that time.
