Ed’s East Valley (Yakima) School District bands, choirs and strings ensembles have won many awards and superior ratings. Numerous of his students have qualified for the state solo/ensemble contest, and some former students have become college music majors. Ed served on the WMEA Board as Small Schools Curriculum officer in 2010-2012.
