Dale has successfully taught music in Sedro-Woolley, at Western Washington University and Hazen High School. He was also a professor of music at Bellevue College, serving as music program and creative arts chair from 1977 to 2004. Dale is well known as a composer, author and professional musician. He was elected to several terms on the WMEA board, including vice president and community college officer.
