Dorothy was active in the sheet music industry, locally and nationally, for 45 years. She was the owner of Sampson Ayers Music Company from 1968 to 1984, working to match conductors’ needs with musical selections to enhance their ensembles’ performances. Dorothy held a lifelong commitment to furthering music programs.
