Hall of Fame: Frank Halferty Inducted: 2012Frank Halferty has taught band, orchestra and general music at all levels for 38 years, the past 21 years in the Shoreline School District, where he is also the district music coordinator. He holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Seattle Pacific University and a Master of Music in Composition from New Mexico State University. A member of NAfME, NBA and ASCAP, Frank has over 200 compositions and arrangements in print. The recipient of 12 ASCAP awards, Frank has also been named Outstanding Music Educator in the Sno-King Music Educators Region, and in the Shoreline and Lake Washington school districts. As an active member of the community, Frank served on the Shoreline Arts Council and as secretary and administrative assistant on the Sno-King Region board. Frank lives in Kenmore with his wife, Melissa, and has two sons.
