Jim is a UW graduate and was a proud member of the Husky Marching Band, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble. He spent 14 years teaching all levels of instrumental music in the Edmonds School District. He currently teaches Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and the Golden Apple Marching Band at Wenatchee High School. He has served the North Central MEA as president and as region solo/ensemble manager, and is the webmaster for WMEA.
