Karen developed and implemented the elementary music program for the Riverside School District. She served as secretary, membership chair and president of the Inland Empire Orff chapter, and as WMEA general music curriculum officer. Karen has taught Orff and elementary methods at Whitworth, Eastern Washington University, and the University of Cincinnati.
