L. Keating was the conductor of the Washington State University Symphony Orchestra and Wind Symphony. He also served as a Northwest Division officer for T.U.B.A. In addition, for 16 years he found time to serve as music director and conductor of the Washington-Idaho Symphony Orchestra.
