Stu was a music teacher from 1950 through 1981, working in Nebraska for 3 years, Selah for 5 years, and Yakima for 23 years. He served on WMEA and MENC committees, was state retired chair, and won a WMEA Award of Distinction in 1988. He was glad for the opportunity to work with thousands of wonderful students and teachers.
