Mark is Associate Director of Bands and Associate Professor of Music Education at Central Washington University, following 27 years of teaching high school music in Oregon and Washington. He served 16 years on the WMEA board, including his term as president from 2008-2010, and has been NAfME Northwest Division president. He was awarded Educator of the Year five times, and has received many other awards and honors, including both the Tri-Cities’ and CWU’s Crystal Apple award. He is a frequent guest conductor and clinician.
