Hall of Fame: Raydell C. Bradley Inducted: 2016Raydell C. Bradley served for ten years on the faculty of Pacific Lutheran University where he conducted both the University Wind Ensemble and Concert Band. He also conducted the Washington Wind Symphony and was on the First Christian Church of Seattle music staff. Prior to PLU, he was Director of Bands at Fort Hays State University, Assistant Director of Bands at Truman State University, and taught in the Omaha public schools. He received the BME and MA degrees from Truman State and the DMA in Instrumental Conducting from the University of Washington. He was an active clinician, conductor, and adjudicator in over 25 states and Canada. Under Professor Bradley, PLU’s Wind Ensemble performed for the CBDNA Convention in Reno, a WMEA Conference and a Hawaii MEA Conference. He was President-Elect of the Northwest Division of CBDNA. Raydell passed away in November 2003. He was loved by all who knew him, and we continue to miss him dearly.
