Tom was band director at Franklin Pierce High School and Ford Junior High School from 1970 to 1982 and at Ferrucci Junior High School from 1982-1995. He also was conductor of the Federal Way Symphonic Band. He received a Citation of Excellence from the National Band Association, and led the featured junior high band at WIBA in 1988. He was President & CEO, Music Centers, Inc., from 1995 to 1999.
