Red taught music for 43 years, working his way west from Nebraska, training beginners in “his style” to feed into high school bands. He produced award-winning bands, soloists and ensembles in Bainbridge Island, Snohomish and Sammamish; many of his students followed in his footsteps. Red was a professional musician, arranger, and adjudicator.
