The Washington Music Educators Administrator of the Year award was established by the WMEA Executive Board to give recognition for exceptional support, inspiration and outstanding contributions to the growth and development of music education, both public and private, in the state of Washington.
The recipient will be honored at one of the WMEA All-State concerts in even-numbered years.
Please take some time to think about outstanding administrators (principals, superintendents or other certificated administrators) you have known who deserve this special recognition. To be selected by one’s own peers is one of the highest honors a person can receive.
Nominate someone as Administrator of the Year by completing the form below and clicking Submit.
Nominations may be made by any WMEA member.
Nominee Information
Nominee must be a certificated school (public, private or college/university) non-music administrator such as a principal, superintendent, dean or other such staff member.
Nomination does not ensure the awarding of WMEA Administrator of the Year. The WMEA Awards Committee will make the final determination as to which nominee is selected as the WMEA Administrator of the Year and will notify the recipient in a timely manner.
Nominee’s information must be complete and accurate at time of submission.
Please submit completed form by October 15, 2023, for consideration for the 2024 WMEA State Conference.
