The Washington Music Educators Hall of Fame was established by the WMEA Executive Board to give recognition for exceptional support, inspiration and outstanding contributions to the growth and development of music education, both public and private, in the state of Washington. A maximum of 10 members and up to two honorary members will be selected each biennium for the Hall of Fame and inducted at our state biennial conference.
Please take some time to think about outstanding music educators you have known and supporters from the music industry who deserve this special recognition. To be selected by one’s own peers is one of the highest honors a person can receive. Nominate someone for the Hall of Fame by completing the form on this page and clicking the submit button below. Nominations must be submitted by October 15, 2023, to be considered for the Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
