Dance Instructor for After School Program
Young Explorers Club, in partnership with Issaquah Parks & Community Services, offers a before and after-school program at the Issaquah Community Center. Our program provides engaging art classes, including workshops in visual arts, music, theater, and dance. We are currently seeking passionate dance instructors to lead after-school dance workshops that inspire creativity and build confidence in young learners.
Schedule: Mondays 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm
Location: Issaquah Community Center, 301 Rainier Blvd S, Issaquah, WA 98027
Compensation: $60-$80/class (45-60 minutes)
Responsibilities:
· Develop engaging lesson plans and curriculum. Introduce students to various dance styles in a fun, creative, and inclusive learning environment. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual learn.
· Plan and supervise an end-of-year dance performance to showcase students’ progress, creativity, and accomplishments.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Arts Education, or a related field preferred.
· Experience teaching dance to children in a classroom setting preferred.
· Passion for nurturing and teaching young children.
