Important Information
In 2020, the WMEA Associate Membership was renamed the WMEA Partner Membership. This name more accurately represents the true function of the membership for businesses, organizations and schools. As partners we share goals to promote and enhance music education.
This membership is available through WMEA only and cannot be purchased through NAfME. The membership runs from September 1 through August 31 annually. Early bird prices run through June 30 each year. Benefits, such as reduced advertising rates and inclusion in our Partner Member Directory are strictly for WMEA partner members.
To become a Partner Member, start by creating your Membership Account. (Schools take care to list your school teh same way it is listed on https://www.opusevent.com/ . If you’re currently a partner member, your account may have been created for you by our staff. Search for your organization in the Partner Member Directory, and if you’re already listed but don’t know your account credentials, you can reset your password by entering your organization’s contact email address on the password reset page. If you’re unable to create an account or are having difficulties in resetting your password, contact us at office@wmea.org.
Non-K-16 Membership
This membership is for businesses and associations. Partners are listed in Voice (WMEA Journal) and our conference program as well as in the web site directory. We provide a one time mailing list of our active members. (We cannot provide email addresses in accordance with NAfME policy) Special advertising rates are available to Partner members.
K-16 Membership
This membership is for K-16 schools. When applicable Partner Membership includes an honor group free auditions benefit along with the listings and advertising benefits listed for other membership types. Be sure to enter the school name exactly the way it is entered in Opus Event.
Introductory Partner Membership
This membership is for any organization or school that has not previously been a partner or associate member.
WMEA values our partners. For non-K-16 members membership includes the Partner Members listings on the website and in publications, advertising discounts and a current mailing list. (We cannot provide email addresses in accordance with NAfME policy) Additional perks will be announced before September 1 and during the school year 2023-24.
To join as an introductory Partner Member, start by creating a Partner Member account. Once the account is created you’ll be provided with payment options to complete your membership.
Membership Renewal
If you’re already a Partner Member and have an account, log in to renew your membership. If you are a past Partner Member and do not have an account, you can create a new account and renew your membership online.
